Conceptual sofa for Nobonobo furniture brand.
The aim of the project was to create an upholstered furniture concept that would be more environmentally friendly.
Main objectives of the project is the recycling of individual components, the ability to replace any of them, comfort, softness, wooden frame, limiting the use of foam.
The draft internal structure of the sofa is made of plywood. The basis is veneered oak plinth.
The internal structure of the soft portion is based on the use of coconut mats of different thickness. Coconut mat minimizes the use of polyurethane foam.
Each soft part is closed in a removable cover which allows the exchange of individual elements.
